Romek Kosenkranius (Pärnu Ühendab) will return as mayor of Pärnu, after getting 23 votes in favor on the 39-seat council. Kosenkranius has been mayor since 2015, ETV news show 'Aktuaalne kaamera' (AK) reported Monday night.
An offshore wind-farm in the Gulf of Riga, Rail Baltica and the expansion of the local airport could all bring benefits to the southwestern Estonian town of Pärnu, while at the same time conservation and environmental questions, and restarting tourism, were all on the table on Tuesday night's 'Valimisstuudio' debate, broadcast by ETV.
Mayor of Pärnu Romek Kosenkranius said on Tuesday ( January 19) that the morbidity per 100,000 inhabitants in Pärnu County in the last two weeks has risen above the Estonian average.
