Romney Message News Today

Has come up multiple times. katie can, i want to hear from you. >> the notion that no one was talking about illegal immigration until donald trump is ridiculous. its been an issue in the months since the 2012 campaign. im not going to defend what president obama said. his policy on immigration has been a disaster. i do think we need border security. all of our candidates are calling for border security. but the rhetoric and the words that donald trump is communicating are a sure fire way to lose...

Majority of the states will win. the romney challenge is to make sure his get out the vote effort maximizes every republican independent is for them. the obama campaign has been doing this a long long time. the thing i am fascinated by is every single national poll from ras muse ento gallup to george washington university political battle ground poll the fox poll are dead even. usually the person liked the most highest favorable rating wins. thats dead even. independents are dead even. it is one...

In charge. now thats the message. you have to decide whether you think thats a good message. i mean, i was watching this -- this storm has been tough on me being out on the road. i was in ohio and wisconsin yesterday. ill be in florida today, north carolina, and virginia tomorrow. but my neighbors are all without power. my daughter and son-in-laws apartment building was vacated in new york. there are lots of new yorkers who are worried about when if ever theyll get back in their homes and theyre...

The district, too much of a national figure. this happens when you try to be a national star and look like youre not tending to the home front. >> it does and it could. the district and redistricting got about a plus four republican benefit so a slightly improved district for michele. she has a history as luke said of running tight races. she has a few scares where she won by three or four points. that is probably the likely outcome here. your point is valid. >> i want to talk to you and i want ...

For it is the presidency. >> the bloomberg endorsement, phil musser, i know youre saying that new york city mayor and all this stuff, but the message, that sort of undercots the romney message, doesnt it? >> no. i respect mayor bloomberg. at the end of the day, it doesnt matter, his endorsement, in swing states where this is going to be decided. bottom line, no one in iowa is going to vote base odd what bloomberg says about climate change. >> we look at this final schedule and you get the sense ...

Weve always tried to bring the country together. >> but if vitreal is the flavor of the day, the koch brothers havent gotten the memo yet. a tv ad they released today sticks to the nice guy in over his head script. >> ive seen zero interest in reducing spending. he inherited a bad situation, but he made it worse. >> i think hes a great person. i dont feel he is the right leader for our country, though. >> i still believe in hope and change, i just dont think obama is the way to go for that. >> t...

Classy gift. this is your paul ryan gift basket. >> i see a little p90x. you are now going to train all of us in p90x. and this is filled with all things paul ryan. cheese, brats, you guys have to all share this. >> this is wonderful. >> but what do you think? has there been a good response from the party about what paul ryan means and how it solidifies the romney message. >> no one said he was a perfect pick or he wouldnt present some challenges. i think mitt romney knew he was going to have to...

Absolutely huge cheers from his base, is striking. and it goes to show you that republicans never actually expected much out of mitt romney. the fact that ann coulter expected him to just summarily ignore his signature legislative accomplishment as governor of massachusetts goes to show you what kind of respect they had for him as a politician. they werent voting for someone who was governor of massachusetts. they were voting for a vessel, i guess. and its sad to say that andrea saul is going to...

Who was governor of massachusetts. they were voting for a vessel, i guess. and its sad to say that andrea saul is going to take the brunt of this, because on strict policy terms, she did not contradict the romney message. the romney message has always been that he passed a law as governor of massachusetts for massachusetts, not for the nation at whole. she said nothing that contradicts that message. but apparently the rules for the republican party is, you cant even talk about romney care, and i...

Voters and the romney message is better. and it is a dead heat right now. >> governor i know it has drosted since you were sworn in and balanced the budget without raising taxes. why does the say the only way to raise jobs. >> it is the wrong formula. you look at virginia with those numbers and taken a fiscally conservative approach and the private sector is the key to getting the greatest country back to wk and growing again. you can sky them saying no, we need to raise taxs and it is the wrong...
