DESHLER — A staple of the Deshler community is moving onto retirement, as Ron Budde of Ron’s SuperValu accumulated 50 years in serving at the local grocer.

With partial recovery of habitat and kite numbers increasing somewhat, time will tell if the majestic birds will reclaim their former nesting haunts.
