Human rights groups applaud the fact that a Montana State Prison employee with ties to white nationalism is no longer employed at the prison.

A report from the Montana Human Rights Network published in April exposed correctional officer Kelly Chambers’s ties to Butte’s Ron McVan, who worked with notorious white supremacist David Lane to create the religion “Wotanism,” which MHRN considers a racist version of Odinism.

A correctional officer with alleged ties to White nationalism is no longer employed at the Montana State Prison, the department said Friday.

The Montana Department of Corrections on Tuesday said Kelly Chambers employment at the prison ended May 12.

In videos posted to YouTube, Kelly Chambers has made several statements disputed this week by his employer, the Montana Department of Corrections.
