When I was just about ready to stand and move, I heard a faint noise to my north. Seconds later, I knew the sounds that were high above. Snow geese.

It’s time for fish and wildlife agencies to constructively re-engage with the hunting and fishing community about the existence of emerging biological issues.

In my talks with friends who are scattered across Pennsylvania's massive deer hunting lands, they, too, have experienced hushed woods.

CWD has been found in 29 states but, so far, New York is the only state to have eliminated it. However, that isn’t the case with our neighbor to the south.

My license could arrive at any time, but it had better be soon, because if its lateness costs me that huge buck I always dream of, I’m not going be a happy guy.

Problems arise when large numbers of smaller bass compete with larger bass for the sunfish — and other baitfish.
