Downtown Providence will officially have a new grocery store on Friday. Rory’s Market + Kitchen, a woman-owned and operated family business, opens to the public at 9 AM on Friday.

City residents and travelers will finally have access to essentials without having to leave the city. Rory's Market and Kitchen will soon be opening at 113 Washington Street with local, organic produce and prepared foods, plus coffee and a juice bar.

The store owner described it as a hybrid of a natural/organic store, grocery store, convenience store and fast-casual restaurant.
