That makes 31 victims in Northern California. More than 1,000 people have reported loved ones missing. The sheriff said 745 people have been located safely. More than 25,000 people remain evacuated but some orders are slowly being lifted. The director of cal fire said every fire burning in the state received an influx of new resources today. Allowing many firefighters to get muchneeded rest. While last nights expected dry winds did not materialize, firefighters are still dealing with very active fire behavior, and theyre worried about it. Most of them in santa rosa. 25,000 people who have been evacuated. 400 people are still missing. Sonoma county sheriff said the rescue efforts have become a search for remains in the disaster zone. Identification is going to be hard. So far in the recovery we have found bodies that were almost completely intact. We have found bodies that were nothing more than ash and bones. Some people cautiously optimistic. This morning when we woke up and saw smoke again it was a little nerveracking but they are on it. We feel better. This mother said she is ready to evacuated. Her car is packed. Some people who live in the area where the atlas fire first started on sunday night are being allowed back into their neighborhoods. Mandatory Evacuation Orders have been lifted for areas near the silverado country club. We spoke with one person as he went home last night.
