Memorial Day surf ceremony brings veterans to Capitola Beach
Memorial Day is simultaneously the unofficial start of summer and a day to reflect on those who died while serving in the military. Nowhere was that more evident than at Capitola Beach, where Veteran Surf Alliance hosted its sixth annual Memorial Day Paddleout.
