On Saturday, October 21, Salt Lake City met its newest gallery space from MICA (Mestizo Institute of Culture and Arts) at The Gateway.

Nine Latina and Chicana women were chosen to be portrayed in murals painted for the Sacramento Poderosas Mural Project that will be exhibited across the city.

Mestizo Institute of Culture and Arts will be among five groups or artists to be awarded the 2021 Mayors Artists Awards by Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall at the Utah Arts Festival on Friday.
