TORONTO - Canada's Mary-Sophie Harvey said she "was really chill" as Summer McIntosh and Penny Oleksiak battled for the early lead in the women's 200-metre freestyle race Tuesday at the Olympic & Paralympic Trials.

A team of 14 athletes has been nominated to represent Canada in Para swimming at the Santiago 2023 Parapan Am Games, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and Swimming Canada announced Thursday.

The Santiago 2023 Parapan Am Games will take place November 17-26, 2023 in Santiago, Chile. Canada is expecting to send a team of approximately 140 athletes.
