Patients who struggle to pay for prescription medications now have a new lifeline. The charitable pharmacy provides free medication to those who are uninsured or underinsured.

Previously, under Ohio law, the organization could only accept donations from nursing homes and other similar healthcare facilities.

Greater Cincinnati's only free pharmacy hits $100 million prescription milestone. The program provides roughly 700 monthly patients with vital medications they otherwise could not afford at no cost.
