All of us put up a bit of a front for work. For most people, there’s nothing more mortifying than our boss seeing the real us, so we do all we can to hide it – the weird hobbies, the bad language. Once we step through the doors of the office we lock in, go full “work mode”, and conceal some of our less desirable traits.

There’s a lot of controversy around AI technologies at the minute. Some are worried that they will replace workers in an economy where it’s already impossible to get a job. Others are worried about what they will do to our sense of creativity, seeing the proliferation of AI art as an example of our ever-lowering cultural standards.

It’s that time of year again, where we all collectively decide that work is over even though we’re technically in for three more days. Reports? Do them yourself. Emails? Absolutely not. Meetings? Only if nobody asks me any questions, and also I’m allowed to have a little sleep.
