Cache la Poudre Middle School teacher Robert Denise was jailed Friday in Fort Collins, accused of sexually assaulting students in the early 2000s.

Robert Denise taught social studies at Cache La Poudre Middle School in Larimer County. He's accused of assaulting 3 victims who were students under 16 at the time.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is asking for information on a church vandalism case in Berthoud. That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook

On Wednesday morning, deputies received information that an unknown suspect had spray-painted the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Berthoud, according to a release from the agency; a vehicle parked at a house across the street was also spray-painted overnight. The graffiti depicted phallic images, obscene language and anti-Mormon sentiments, according to the release.

The shooting, first considered a road-rage incident, may have been an attempted robbery.

Investigation into the incident remains ongoing but the Sheriff's Office does not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public associated with the incident, the release said. Anyone with information about the incident, suspects or who may have photos or videos from Owl Canyon Road and the immediate surrounding area during this timeframe have been asked to call Investigator Ryan Gebhardt at 970-498-5586.
