ANNAPOLIS — Maryland lawmakers and legislative staffers returning to the Statehouse this year are welcoming a delicious upgrade to the building’s canteen: an Eat Sprout cafe.

Easton Elementary’s hallways are usually empty on a Saturday, but this weekend, the school’s linoleum floors saw quite a bit of foot traffic.
