The shooting happened in downtown Indianapolis at the corner of Illinois and Maryland streets on March 30. They believe there could be more suspects. 

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department made an arrest related to the late March incident that led to seven juveniles being shot in downtown Indianapolis.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police in Indianapolis will now begin enforcing the state's curfew law. "I want to begin by saying what we saw play out in downtown last weekend was simply unacceptable," said Chief Chris Bailey of Indianapolis Metro Police in a Thursday press conference. Seven kids between the ages of 12 and 17 were shot last weekend. Police say the kids had planned to meet up with a rival group and fight.

Chaim "Chaikel" Puretz, 47, was charged with one count of corrupt business influence, and 12 counts of theft, both felonies and misdemeanors.

The rape happened after Officer Myron Howard and others responded to a report of domestic violence in January at a home, a news release says.

A New Jersey man has been charged with corrupt business influence, as well as various counts of theft, after his decision to transfer money allocated for utility bills to himself caused the tenants of multiple apartment complexes to lose access to utilities in 2022.
