A group of Indigenous comedians are sharing their humour with shows in Saskatoon and Regina this weekend before jetting off to Hollywood.

As a two-week public hearing unfolds, diverse voices are emerging, with Indigenous media players hoping the implementation of Bill C-11 will result in more equal opportunities.

Bugs in Amber is a verbatim play at Saskatoon Fringe where every line in the script comes from words someone else actually wrote or said.

The StarPhoenix is reviewing shows at this year’s Saskatoon Fringe Festival, which runs Aug. 3-12. 

The show was designed from the start to celebrate the diversity of local comedy.
