PITTSBURGH – A man accused of the murder of an Uber driver and who requested that the wrongful death civil lawsuit against him be stayed – while the concurrent criminal proceedings against him resolve – has had that request granted.

PITTSBURGH – Uber has argued that wrongful death litigation brought by a Pennsylvania woman concerning the murder of her daughter, a driver for the ride share service who was held up at gunpoint and killed by her passenger, should be resolved in arbitration and not in a court of law.

PHILADELPHIA – Amazon has denied liability for significant fire damage sustained by a Delaware County homeowner and insurance company, which alleged that same damage occurred after use of a pest repellent which he ordered from the company.
