Saipan Dog Control Program News Today

SEVERAL individuals participated in a protest against United Airlines’ lack of pet shipping service.

Saipan Humane Society wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to the community for the outstanding support and generous sponsorships during the recent spay and neuter clinic from May 26 to June 30. This initiative was aimed at addressing the critical issue of dog and cat overpopulation on Saipan.

GENERAL veterinary medical care is essentially needed in the CNMI, according to visiting veterinarian Dr. Whitney Collins who is conducting a month-long clinic at the Saipan Dog Control Program office.

The animal clinic that was scheduled to start yesterday at the Saipan Mayor’s Office Animal Shelter in As Perdido has been postponed due to Super Typhoon Mawar’s entrance into the region.

THE Saipan Dog Control Program is partnering once again with Saipan Humane Society to bring a four-week spay/neuter clinic to the community.

In her short time in the CNMI, volunteer veterinarian Dr. Whitney Collins has accomplished many things and she’ll be back for more as there are big things happening here related to animal services, treatment, and welfare.
