Another arrest has been announced in connection to the shooting that killed two teens and injured several others attending a Sweet 16 birthday party in Douglasville in March 2023.

Douglas County deputies have now charged the now-former funeral home employee, with at least 12 counts of theft by deception and 1st-degree forgery.

The youngest victim was just two years old.

Tahkel Smart was indicted in the murder of Grayson Green, 17. He is also charged with the murders of a 14-year-old and 15-year-old.
