Singapore-born doctor Teoh Kar Hao was shot and killed in South Africa after taking a wrong turn into an area where there were protests.

Mr Kar Teoh was a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, believed to have been awarded a number of international fellowships for his work.
