Rowers from the Isle of Wight have been enjoying racing success - with young Island stars being crowned British champions.

Kayakers or canoeists are needed to assist as the first line of safety craft to paddle with the swimmers between Sandown and Shanklin

The Isle of Wight Marlins Master Swim Club is presenting the 2022 Pier2Pier Charity Swim Challenge on Saturday July 30.

Paddle boarders are needed for this year’s Pier2Pier Swim race which is able to go ahead this summer (August) for its 68th year.

The Bay areas Pier2Pier swim back for 2021 The Isle of Wights 69th Pier2Pier swim will be back for 2021, on Saturday, August 7. Organised by the Isle of Wight Marlins swimming club, 2020s had to be cancelled, due to Covid-19 pandemic. 2021 will see 150 swimmers taking part, including 50 from the Isle of Wight.
