Passover commemorates the journey of the Jewish people from slavery to freedom in ancient Egypt. ABC 10News Morning Anchor Jared Aarons is among those preparing for the annual ritual.

In a direct assault on freedom of speech, the San Diego County District Attorney’s office claimed they were investigating if the cartoon could be deemed a hate crime.

The cartoon pictured an elephant identified as Israel holding a sign reading: “We want to genocide Palestinians.” Uncle Sam, representing the United States, is shown holding another sign reading: “We are entitled to foreign land.”
