Aiming to salute the contributions and accomplishments of Black women, Bakewell Media CEO Danny J. Bakewell, Sr., created a memorable space to commemorate several Black women who continue to make waves of change through selfless due diligence and continuous acts of service.  

The Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center (BHERC) has teamed with Restoration Stage of Washington, DC to bring the popular musical, “Veils,” to the Los Angeles area for a short run at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center.

The Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center wraps up the 29th Annual "Sistas Are Doin' It For Themselves" Short Film Festival" with the third and final "Meet the Filmmakers' Panel" on Saturday, April 9, at 1 p.m. PST/4 p.m. EST, on BHERC.TV. The event is virtual and free to the public.
