So hopefully the other only road out of here stays open. So, crews say theyre not going to take that van out until they can stabilize the area around it. Caltrans now saying highway 17 will not fully reopen through Scotts Valley until monday at the earliest. Crews are working to clear a giant mudslide. There is one lane open in each direction. Youre looking at video of crews working through the night, clearing mud and debris from the northbound lanes and tuesdays slide hit in the exact same place where one of our morning photographers was hit by a land slide last month.
