STEMCON, College of DuPages annual exploration of science, technology, engineering and math, returns to College of DuPage on Saturday, April 29. Experience hands-on activities at a variety of indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits including remote-control car racing, aviation activities, seed bomb making, model rockets, welding simulators, math-based magic tricks, telescopes and more.

Professor, science entertainer and "The Big Book of Experiments" author Dr. Kate Biberdorf presents an evening of explosive science on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Explore resources, workshops, experiences and more for grade K through 12 educators Aug. 30, through a partnership between College of DuPage and The Morton Arboretum.

With only 28 percent of women accounting for careers in STEM fields, College of DuPage is working to combat this gender gap. A mentorship and networking program seeks to help future leaders develop the necessary skills to thrive in some of the fastest-growing careers.

College of DuPage will host a series of free virtual events during STEM Week, running Monday, Oct. 11, to Saturday, Oct. 16. The week will include highlights on the colleges social media platforms as well as livestreamed discussions and a trivia night.
