The acting Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adeola Adeniyi has stressed that no price is too big to pay for peace, hence, appealing that people should see the ongoing closure of land border between Niger Republic and Nigeria as in the best interest to restore peace.

The bandits also sent one of the victims with a handwritten letter to the district head of Burkusuuma, Sarkin Rafi, asking for N20 million for the release of the victims.
