L.W. Wright, a legend in NASCAR history who tricked his way into a race, has sadly passed away at the age of 76.

NASCAR legend L.W. Wright has come out of hiding 40 years after the unknown driver entered the 1982 Winston 500 at Talladega and then disappeared, leaving a string of unpaid bills in his wake.

The Scene Vault Podcast claims they have not only found L.W. Wright, NASCAR's D.B. Cooper, but interviewed him as well.
