A long-brewing disagreement between county and state leaders over Montana property tax rates is now going to be debated in the court system.

The state's latest appraisal of home values across Montana and the potential tax implications brought several hundred people to Missoula on Wednesday afternoon to gain better insight on how the process plays out and why values have skyrocketed over the last two years.
