A Hopkinsville man and woman were arrested after police say they broke into a building in downtown Hopkinsville Thursday morning. Scott Ethridge, 36, was served a warrant and arrested for complicity to third-degree burglary. The warrant states Ethridge, in complicity with Holly Burns, 31, took items from a closed business in the area of West Second Street and Riverfront Drive. The pair can reportedly be seen on surveillance camera going to the rear of the building, to the docking area and removing merchandise from the area, the report said. A man and woman charged with stealing packages off porches were arrested on burglary charges just a day after being released from jail on those charges. Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old Holly Burns, of Dawson Springs, and 36-year-old Scott Ethridge, of Hopkinsville, were seen taking packages off of porches in the area of West 2nd Street and Riverfront Drive Wednesday morning.
