The Bureau of Land Management has released its plan to gather and remove approximately 20,000 wild horses and burros and treat 1,400 horses with fertility control in 2024.

William Simpson, who created the organization "Wild Horse Fire Brigade," says he's found that horses placed in remote areas would eat grass and brush, cutting the amount of fuel for wildfires.

Adopt a wild horse online from the Wyoming Honor Farm LANDER, Wyo. — The Bureau of Land Management will hold an online wild horse adoption event April 27–May 4, 2021, featuring approximately 35 wild horses gentled by inmate trainers at the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton, Wyoming.
