MSCS students are less than a week away from standardized exams, putting everything they have learned during the school year to test.

During Fridays superintendent interviews the MSCS board said literacy and children entering the school system READY at the pre-kindergarten level is a major concern.

With the TCAP retake results released Wednesday, only about 30% of MSCS third-graders will get to advance to the fourth grade.
