corporate rate down tremendously and the individual rates. they keep talking about those benefits going to the rich. that is fake news. 80% of americans got the benefit of the tax cut. to take them away you are penalizing 80% of americans. i don t think that is a winning strategy. the question is are they talking about corporate tax cuts? probably corporate. take away the tax incentives for businesses, what they won t do is create jobs. todd: a big jobs number today. the scuttlebutt on the street is that will lead to the feds dropping the rate a quarter percentage point. do you think they will drop it? is it a good decision to do so? everyone is betting on the drop. i don t think the job number will be influencing that. buried in that jobs number is another important piece, the wage curve rate is twice the inflation rate.

how do you think it s going to play with his base? the allegations with franken, this is going to be a precarious space for democrats to navigate because there is room for nuance. and some people do look at this space between al franken resigning and the president of the united states who himself was accused of assaulting something like 17 women. we have them on tape bragging about sexual assault. some people did feel like it was a circular firing squad and gillibrand jumped out there quickly and pounce on franken. i think a lot of times some of these candidates and the scuttlebutt and talk, the chatter class of politics, we put too much emphasis on what social media is saying. twitter is outraged and that cast as wide circle of influence. that s not always true. there are hard core feminists who feel like al franken was
