SEVERAL RELATIVES and friends of Seage John, the Layou/Ottley Hall resident who died on January 1, 2023 after a run-in with police officers staged a protest in Kingstown on Tuesday, January 10.

Commissioner of Police, Colin John, met with the mother and aunt of the Seage John who was fatally wounded during a police operation in Rose Place on January 1, 2023.

On December 5, 2018 while Ottley Hall/Layou resident Seage John was leaving the Serious Offences Court on the back of a prison transport, he formed his hands into the shape of a gun and pointed it at a journalist.
