India logged 756 fresh cases of Covid-19 cases in the previous 24 hours, while the active cases declined to 8,115.

India logged 801 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, said Union Health Minister on Monday.

India witnessed a further dip in COVID cases as 4,282 new infections were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday.

Around 7,533 cases of Covid-19 were reported on Friday, whereas the country logged 7,171 cases on Saturday, according to official records.

India recorded 7,171 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, around 362 less than the count reported yesterday, according to a daily bulletin released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday.

According to the Health Ministry's data, the total number of active cases in the country has declined to 51,314 from the earlier 53,852.

On Wednesday, India reported 4,435 fresh cases of coronavirus infections - the biggest single-day jump in 163 days (five months and 13 days). 

Delhi recorded 295 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 12.48 per cent, according to a daily health bulletin released by the government on Thursday.
