Belleville residents got a chance to get an up-close look at Bi-State Development's $52 million 'Secure Platform Plan.' 

"This is a security upgrading project. It's all about riders' safety," General Manager of Security for Bi-State Development Kevin Scott said.

FOX 2 has the first look at the dramatic changes to every St. Louis area MetroLink stop. 

MetroLink's new $52 million plan to secure its rider platforms will be the focus of a public open house later Tuesday.

Bi-State Development is hosting an open house in the Metro-East Tuesday evening to discuss safety and security changes on the MetroLink light rail system.

Efforts continue to make St. Louis residents and visitors safe and confident in the local transit system.
