Before sentencing on Wednesday, Christopher Clements read a rambling statement and said he didn’t feel he was given a fair trial.

Christopher M. Clements, who is serving a natural life sentence for killing a Tucson teenager, is on trial in the 2012 abduction and killing of 6-year-old Isabel Celis.

This is Clements' second trial for the kidnapping and killing of 6-year-old Isabel Celis. Jurors could not agree on a verdict in his previous trial last year, which ended in mistrial.

Attorneys alleged a trial judge showed bias against Christopher Clements, who killed one Tucson girl and faces charges in the death of Isabel Celis.

Defense attorneys for Christopher Clements want the Judge in the case replaced. They claim his actions after the last trial ended with a hung jury show evidence of bias.
