Today. Public speaker . Jeff brooks. This is sort of a related item very important and coming up as an imminent issue filling of the final seat on the sf puc by appointment. That final seat is the seat that is required to have a person that has ratepayer or consumer advocacy experience. And i think it would be, im pretty much directing this at lafco. I have a feeling this wont be entirely wrapped up by the end of february and it might be a good idea to in case its not resolved why it to schedule an a discussion of proposition e in 2008 whiches the proposition that gave the board of supervisors power to vote on this. Rebar. Retear of the deteriorated substructure under the Agriculture Building will be considered for prioritization in the near future. Next this is a photo under pier 29, right next to our new cruise terminal. The photo shows deteriorated concrete beams. Inspection reveals substantial deteer rake of the deck did go, beams, girders and slab. The bulk head repair project will have an estimated cost of about 2 million, an additional 9 million will be needed to repair the rest of the substructure. The bulk head substructure will be considered for funding in fiscal year 201617. My last example is pier 54. The photo is what someone would see on a boat approaching from the northwest. The photo on the right shows an example of deteriorated concrete beam framing into a pile under pier 54. Pier 54 has many damaged beams. As present no Funding Source has been identified for the repair. Estimated cost to perform the repairs is 21 million and this includes both structure, gravity repairs and seism
Off of the power procurement process and i think its key and critical and im not going to disagree with keeping the the 90 days in the timeline but be ready for it to to go quicker that way were getting everything done and i had two more comments making sure while staff is checking in, if theres a window where they are not checking in, we should make sure its being agendized and there will be regular questions that should be asked and regular times to check in and finally ensuring or engaging with labor as quickly as possible and those discussions and id encourage us to get those discussions going tomorrow but calling them tomorrow and saying can we get these meetings rolling again and starting that process again.
