The upgrade will include sound and lighting upgrades, new flooring, new curtains and curtain rigging system, fresh paint and a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
This year, Bluff Park Elementary School chose its library media specialist, Allison Dolan, as its Teacher of the Year. Gerri Kimble, a business and marketing teacher at Hoover High School, was named the Secondary Teacher of the Year.
The proposal is to rezone the planned Everlee community from Deer Valley Elementary to South Shades Crest Elementary and Brock s Gap Intermediate School, and to eventually make South Shades Crest and Brock s Gap both K-5 schools.
