YEIDA gives nod to biggest budget yet | Noida News

Noida: In its 70th board meeting on Monday, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) approved a budget of Rs 4,123 crore for the financial year 2021-22. This is the biggest ever budget approved by the authority. A total of Rs 4,110 crore has been allocated for land acquisition, development work, contribution to Jewar airport, reduction of YEIDA debt and execution of multimodal connectivity works. Under this, while Rs 540 crore has been allocated for the airport, Rs 300 crore for multimodal connectivity with a focus on Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi connectivity, Rs 800 crore for land acquisition and Rs 2,673 crore for revenue payment.

An artist’s impressions of Noida International Airport GREATER NOIDA: The Noida International Airport project cleared another regulatory hurdle on Wednesday, with the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) granting security clearance to the same. The in-principle approval of the master plan is the only regulatory hurdle now left to commence development work at the site, officials said. However, the regulatory body has asked Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) to amend some parts of its master plan. And once the revised plan is vetted, BCAS will grant the final clearance, a procedural step that is expected to take 10 to 14 days, officials said.
