The Marin Municipal Water District has approved a polarizing recreation management study that recommends pilot programs to expand bicycle access in the Mount Tamalpais watershed.
The collaboration aims to defend the Mount Tamalpais watershed from wildfires through invasive broom removal, pile burning, prescribed burns and other projects.
The plan is broken down into five objective areas, including water supply, creating a resilient water system, watershed stewardship, fiscal responsibility and organizational excellence.
