Police in Zomba have arrested five people in connection with the chasing of deputy special advisor on religious affairs to president Chakwera Sheikh Hashim Abba

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has allocated One Thousand Three Hundred and Eighty-Six (1386) seats for Oyo State for next year's Hajj Exercise. This was disclosed by the Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare's Board (Muslim Wing), Sheikh Hashim AbdulWahab Olamide Atere after a meeting with the Chairman of NAHCON, Alhaji Zikirullahi Kunle Hassan
