The Sedgwick County Sheriffs Office says that the man killed by police on Tuesday in Haysville appears to be a suicide-by-cop situation.

The Dam Jam Music Festival was shut down by the Sedgwick County Commission Wednesday.

County officials believe recent pay increases approved for the Wichita Police Department (WPD) could cause a chain reaction within other public sectors.
