Unions for Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) are eyeing industrial action amid industrial agreement negotiations, claiming the telecommunications company has no compassion related to recent terminations and alleged unsafe working environments.

Bahamas Telecommunications Company vice chairman Valentine Grimes said a portion of the cash raised by parent company Liberty Latin America in its recent tower deal, could be used to deploy 5G in the Bahamas. 

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — National Congress Trade Union First Vice President, Sherry Benjamin said that she believes that the state of the unions at the end of last year was positive as the country heads into 2023 with most of the Industrial Agreements with the government signed off on. Her comments came
