An upper-level disturbance will result in increased scattered to numerous showers and storms in South Texas. The biggest hazard to be aware of is localized flash flooding from strong storms.
The weather pattern for the week is an unsettled one with more scattered showers & storms. By the end of the week, many areas will see 2-3 inches of rain with some spots at 3-4 inches.
Springs storms are the story this week, but Wednesday is a day we are watching close for severe weather potential which is why we have called for a Storm 5 Alert.
