Shinde MLAs seek extra time to reply

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar has given Shiv Sena MLAs seven days to respond to the disqualification notices, wherein legislators belonging to Chief Minister Eknath Shindes faction are seeking more time to reply to the notice. The Shinde group MLA, Sanjay Shirsat, has expressed the need for further time to resort to legal replies.

NCP founder Sharad Pawar returned from Delhi late on Thursday night and met his state unit chief Jayant Patil and others at Silver Oak, his residence in south Mumbai. He will be on a tour of Nashik district on Saturday. After becoming a part of the ruling alliance, Ajit Pawar had said that NCP would win more than 71 seats. He also said that his party will contest 90 assembly seats.

Uddhav asks leaders to prepare for 48 LS constituencies, will not receive those who left the party
