Press Publications is the recipient of three awards from the Minnesota Newspaper Association (MNA) in its 2022-23 Better Newspaper Contest.

In 2023, the Minnesota Legislature approved a new law related to the use and possession of cannabis. Chapter 63 legalizes the possession, use, manufacturing and sales of certain cannabis products.
