An ex-adviser to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was killed in a crash after police say a Lyft driver ordered him out of the car in the middle of a Delaware highway over the weekend.

The Maryland man killed in a crash after being kicked out of a Lyft ride over the weekend has been identified by police as 43-year-old Sidney Wolf. He was previously a Senior Policy Advisor for former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo according to his LinkedIn page. He lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland with his wife and two children.

The Lyft driver "terminated the ride" following an undisclosed altercation after picking up the six companions in Dewey Beach and transporting them to Bethany Beach.
