Enniscorthy community groups and shops recognised for contributions to St Patrick's Day parade

Participants in what was regarded as one of the best Enniscorthy St Patrick’s Day parades in recent memory have received prizes for their contributions to the event. Smyth’s Homevalue received €500 for the best window display, while the Brazilian Community Group and the Martina Leacy Dance Academy received the same amount for their colourful additions to the parade.

145 Wexford children avail of 'lifeline' provided by Jack and Jill Foundation

145 children from Wexford have received vital in-home nursing support and care since the formation of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation in 1997. The foundation, which currently supports 16 children and their families across Co Wexford, funds and provides in-home nursing care and respite support to families caring for children, up to the age of six, with neurodevelopmental delay associated with a severe cognitive delay.
