A crash outside Ferns village has resulted in two people being taken to hospital, one of whom was unconscious. The accident occurred on the Enniscorthy Road, near the entrance to the GAA Centre of Excellence and is believed to have involved a single vehicle.

145 children from Wexford have received vital in-home nursing support and care since the formation of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation in 1997. The foundation, which currently supports 16 children and their families across Co Wexford, funds and provides in-home nursing care and respite support to families caring for children, up to the age of six, with neurodevelopmental delay associated with a severe cognitive delay.
