Now-defunct studio Space10 will continue to inspire through an extensive archive of its groundbreaking work created by its long-time collaborator, Barkas

On 31 August, Space 10, Ikea's innovation platform in Copenhagen, will close its doors for good. The lab says it has achieved all the goals it set out to achieve.

As Space10 closes its doors, it leaves behind a newly launched website featuring archive works as well as sharing its tools, internal guidelines and collaborator contacts.

IKEA's design research lab Space10 is set to close its doors, stating that it has "achieved what we initially set out to accomplish".

It's a question raised by environmental groups increased over the past few years.
