The scooter will be built on the same platform as the Simple One and will come equipped with a fixed 3.7 kWh battery pack. It is certified to offer a range of 151 kilometers, which extends to 160 kilometers in IDC testing.

Bangalore-based EV startup, Simple Energy, is set to launch a new electric scooter on December 15. The new model is called the Dot One and is said to be the company’s first sub-Rs 1 lakh e-scooter.

Simple Energy is preparing to launch another electric scooter in the county - Simple Dot One. This time around, it will be an affordable offering that might lock horns with the Ola S1 Air. 

Simple Energy Launch Date: This electric scooter is positioned as a sub-variant within Simple Energy’s line of electric two-wheelers, following the recent introduction of the Simple One. It will be launched with a price tag below INR 1 lakh, the company said.

The Simple Dot One electric scooter will slot in below the flagship One model, but will still cost in excess of Rs 1 lakh.
